We are Kevin and Shannon Orlowski, the owners of SOKO Lodging. As empty nesters with a deep appreciation for the Upper Peninsula, we're passionate about sharing this special place with others.
Kevin's connection to the U.P. began early in life through family trips to their cabin in the region. His love for the area's natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and close-knit communities eventually led him to attend Michigan Technological University, further strengthening his ties to the Upper Peninsula.
Shannon has always felt drawn to the U.P.'s peaceful landscapes, abundant wildlife, and slower pace of life. When the opportunity arose to make the Upper Peninsula their permanent home, we embraced it wholeheartedly and never looked back.
Today, we're proud to welcome visitors from near and far to experience everything that makes the U.P. so remarkable—from pristine lakes and forests to endless outdoor adventures and unforgettable sunsets.
